Breaking News: Rohingya minor girl found death in Maungdaw north

A Rohingya minor girl was found dead near the village cemetery at Ngan Chaung village tract in Maungdaw north on June 12, 2019 in the early morning today.

The deceased was identified as Samerah (13) d/o Noor Bashar (alias) Kala of Ngan chaung in Maungdaw north.

According to AT correspondent report, the girl went to search goats in the field outside the village at around 5:00 yesterday. She did not come back home as usual from the paddy field with the goats that evening.

Therefore, her family members searched her everywhere in the village and outside the village but did not find her.

This morning, the girl was found death beside the graveyard near the village by her family members and brought home.

It is learnt that security forces were roaming across the village the last whole night and the girl was believed to have been gang raped to death by the security forces. Symtoms of rape was seen and the belly was swelled up.
