IHRC East Africa: A meeting with the UN-Habitat where discussion on various issues and joint working

H.E Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure, the Africa Region HQ Secretary General of the International Human Rights Commission has firmly established the IHRC branches in East Africa as well as the other nations of the African continent. This is a report reflecting the journey so far in the Republic of Kenya where a partnership with the UN system in Kenya has been created by the IHRC team in Kenya led by Evans Mutavi. Evans Mutavi, who Dr. Ahure appointed the Special Envoy INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION African Region had a meeting with the UN-Habitat where he discussed various issues on working together towards the mission and vision of the two bodies. He was to meet the UN Acting Director General Maimunah Mohd Sharif from Malaysia, but unfortunately, on the same day, She had an emergency visit to UN headquarters New York USA. Mutavi is developing a serious conversation with the UN in different agencies towards partnership as well as collaboration. On 28th May 2019 Evans Mutavi, Special Envoy of the INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION African Region, National Chair of IHRC Kenya is scheduled to meet the executives of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights OHRCH in Kenya. The meeting will be chaired by her Excellency Senior Director of OHRCH Marcella Favretto, In Nairobi. We are establishing these partnerships to prevent and protect human rights violations in all ways.
