Dr. HAISSAM BOU-SAID to look into submissions on matters that have occurred within the Islamic Republic of Mauritania which stand condemned as violations of human rights, has concluded the assignment and submitted its recommendation to the IHRC Situation Room.
The results show that the IHRC leadership team in Mauritania headed by Aly Daya Amar have been calling on every Mauritanian who has suffered all forms of human rights violations to make known such cases for the IHRC Mauritania to seek redressal on their behalf. With the IHRC Situation Room acknowledging and commending Aly Daya Amar for his commitment to the promotion and protection human rights all over Mauritania, H.E Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure has approved and confirmed his appointment.
Aly Daya Amar is to serve in the capacity of IHRC coordinator/special envoy to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania – a West African nation. Dr. Ahure affirmed that the courage of Aly Daya Amar to give IHRC a voice in Mauritania against the unprintable inconsistencies committed by the authorities cannot be dismissed as self-serving, unreasonable or unacceptable.
Amar who is Adviser and an International Arbitrator and Dispute Settlement Judge at the International Tribunal for Dispute Resolution, London, England is also a lecturer in International Law and International Relations.
Amongst other things, it is noteworthy that Aly Daya Amar’s position as head of IHRC Mauritania is well deserved because he is simultaneously serving as Director of the International Peace Ambassadors Academies Coalition office in Mauritania and Director of the Information and External Relations Office at the World Organization for Development and Peace. Pronouncing the IHRC Mauritania registered with the IHRC Arab-Africa Region HQ, Dr Ahure noted all the modest efforts of the IHRC team in the country and praised the fact that the leadership and membership are comprising a complete spectrum of youthful energy for activism.
These Mauritanians have therefore been charged to work for real justice for the poor, the disadvantaged, and the journalists and authors who are constantly attacked for revealing justice. IHRC Arab-Africa Region is in appreciation of their worthy and remarkable contributions for human rights and has fully registered the IHRC Mauritania to operate in Africa.
