National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, the human ideal building summer internship program across India’s month May 16, 2019, starting in New Delhi. Trainees of this training program to 19 states / Union 50 post-graduate level territories to participate in is mainly linked to the provisions of law and social sciences. Inaugurated while, member of NHRC, Justice P. C. Pant is very pleased to say that knowing the reaction of so many students to enroll themselves for the prominent human rights training programs in various parts of the country.
He said that through the needs of education and building awareness to build a human rights culture in the country and the internship program of the Commission reflects this aspect. He hoped that the interns to understand the various aspects and challenges related to human rights will make the best use of this opportunity to contribute to the human rights culture. He said the NHRC’s powers are limited, but is instrumental in providing relief to thousands of people despite who were victims of human rights violations.

He examined the Commission, research, training highlighted through the wings and international engagements, it is recognized as an “A” status NHRI by global alliance, GANHRI national human rights institutions.
Dr. Sanjay Dube, Director, NHRC said that it is the 33rd internship program. Underlining the importance of the Commission’s internship programs, he said that human rights as a subject covers various aspects. He said that efforts will highlight the interns to all those who said that would not come to them without any rights obligations that it must also be appreciated. In addition to the various aspects of human rights organizing lectures eminent subject experts, the Commission also visited the area of prisons, gives place to the police NGO interns. Interns are directed to select some of the issues of human rights for writing thesis and dissertation.
Shri Prabhat Singh, Director (IT), Mr Surjit Day, Registrar (Law), Dr. Ranjit Singh, Joint Secretary (P & A), and other senior officials of the Commission were present on the occasion.
